Reality Store A fun simulation that teaches the link between academics and real life. Students are assigned a salary based on their GPA, which they then use to buy housing, transportation, groceries, insurance, child care, clothing, electronics, vacations, etc. |

Career Speakers Bureau Volunteers of various professions make classroom presentations about work, life, and career paths. As a result, students get a real-life glimpse into the world of work after high school. More than 100 trained speakers from a wide variety of careers are available. |

Mock Interviews Students are provided the chance to practice their interviewing skills with community professional in a supportive setting. |

Job Shadowing Placements for students that provide hands-on learning experiences in a real-world setting. The Franklin Inititative connects students to dozens of local businesses and other organizations eager to offer their time and attention.
